Here’s a fun little morsel. Attorney Will Gardner (of the newly renamed law firm Lockhart/Gardner & Bond) was named #16 on Chicago Magazine’s latest list of the city’s most eligible bachelors.
See the article here:
The extra fun part? This is the same Will Gardner whom Alicia Florrick was rumored to be sleeping with last year -- cameras caught the two of them inside a hotel together. My sources say that particular outing was innocuous, but I’m unconvinced. A&W go all the way back to Georgetown, they work together, they seem to have a great rapport... Call me crazy (seriously, I like that) but I think something's afoot. So what do we think, dear readers? Please weigh in. Is the wronged Alicia evening the score by engaging in some extracurriculars with the boss? She could certainly do worse...

Another day, another disgraced politician. Congressman Timmerman’s scandal is extra heartbreaking: his wife Lana is eight months pregnant-- and he’s apparently in love with another woman. So here’s the hypothetical: would you rather your husband cheated on you with a prostitute a la Peter Florrick, or is the greater sin actually falling in love with the bed buddy? I realize this is like choosing between having your leg cut off with a pickax or a hatchet, but try to play along.

One of our favorite topics here at SITNB: Peter Florrick and the run for State’s Attorney. Love this guy. You just can’t keep him down. He’s sleeping with hookers, he’s in prison for public corruption... and just a few months later, he’s announcing his re-election bid. I say go for it, Florrick. If your wife’s willing to give you another shot, maybe the public will as well... until the next bombshell drops, anyway. I give Captain Malfeasance six months before he’s back in the news for all the wrong reasons. Thoughts?

Oh, Chicago. So much to love. The diversity. The skyline. The rampant political corruption. It’s with that last characteristic in mind that we launch www.snarkisthenewblack.com - a blog devoted to the news, gossip and political bluster of our own Windy City. Rather than lament the sex scandals and crooked deals that define this town, we revel in them. And we’ll add a little flavor from the Chicago sports, entertainment and legal worlds as well - there’s plenty of snide commentary to go around. So, welcome. Thanks for joining us for a little walk in the snark...
